The Town of Stow is seeking qualified candidates for the position of full-time Treasurer/Collector. The position is responsible for performing, in accordance with M.G.L. Chapter 41, administrative and supervisory work involving the receipt, custody, and expenditure of municipal funds; the investment and borrowing of money; Town payroll; the custody of tax title properties, and the collection of all money due to the Town. Preferred candidates will possess a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related field with a certification as a municipal Treasurer/Collector and 5 years of related management level experience, or any equivalent combination of education and experience. The current salary range is $63,090 to $78,864 with a 2.5% COLA increase expected for 2021. Additionally, an annual educational incentive pay bonus of 5%, 10% and 15% is offered to employees with a AA/AS, BA/BS or Masters’ degree respectively.
