Dear Member:

The Annual Holiday Meeting of this Association will be held on Wednesday, December 9th at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester. The full meeting fee includes a continental breakfast during registration and a luncheon buffet. Directions to the Hogan Center are printed on the reservation form.

Our agenda highlights two areas of importance to the security and financial well being of our municipalities. Addressing our membership first will be Stephanie Zierten, who is the Deputy General Counsel of the Information Technology Division of the Executive Office of Administration and Finance. Stephanie will share with us an overview of Massachusetts Data Security Law. Following Stephanie will be Navjeet Bal, who is the Massachusetts Commissioner of Revenue. Commissioner Bal will address our members on the status of state revenues, the tax rate for municipalities and Local Aid.

We will also present certificates to our most recently Certified and Re-Certified Collectors and Treasurers as well as certificates to our Assistant Collectors and Treasurers. Please join us on December 9th for a meaningful program that will offer stimulating dialogue, a fine meal, great friendship and holiday cheer.

The Luncheon Buffet will start with a house garden salad and soup. Your entrée choices will be: Grilled Chicken with Wild Mushroom Marsala and/or Filet of Sole Florentine with a Lemon Leek Sauce, all accompanied by the chef's choice of vegetable and potato. The luncheon will be topped off with your choice of coffee or tea and the chef's choice of dessert.

Following lunch and during dessert, we will have the awarding of donated Door Prizes. We look forward to seeing you at an enjoyable and educational Annual Holiday Meeting.
